Six Months

Adyn turned six months old on the 8th of February...He weighed 20 pounds! He was 28 inch. tall! (90% tile for both)

Everything we love about him:

*Chews on his toes

*Can roll over from his tummy to back

*He is a wiggly worm in the tub. He now grabs the back of his bath tub and stands himself up..making it a two person job to bathe him now!

*He will lock his arms and legs and screams!

*Starting to get into a routine at night.

*Been sleeping better in his crib!

*Loves the computer and to play with the remotes

*He is a mini Terrance..they look so much alike!

We love our little munchkin! He is so sweet and is growing up too fast!

Adyn Started on rice cereal when he turned five months old. He loves it! Then we tried oatmeal cereal and he loves that too. He gets really excited and kicks his feet when i put him in his high chair. Once he see's his bowl and spoon, he gets mad if i don't get it ready fast enough! Over the weekend he got his first taste of banana's...with every bite he said "mmmmmm!"

Christmas was simple this year but it was the best! We celebrated Adyn's first Christmas together. He was still to young to really know what was going on, but Mom and Dad had fun watching him play with his new toys! Christmas Eve we spent at my parents house. Terrance made chicken and dumplins..yum! We opened our jammie presents and hung out! Christmas morning we opened presents and ate our traditional "morning after breakfast." New years eve we played games with my family and all stayed up to bring in the new year...even baby Adyn made it to midnight! My best friend Melissa was in town for three weeks over the holiday...and It was so great getting to see her and the kiddos. Her youngest Brendon and Adyn are only 3 weeks apart and it was so fun getting to see them together!

4 months

* He is ticklish everywhere. when I take off his onsie and it brushes on the back of his arms he gives the biggest giggle! oh its so cute :)

*He loves his tubby...he smiles, kicks and splashes around. We love his rolls and little booty cheeks!

* He has discovered his voice. He jabbers, babbles and screams!

*He is a drool monster...and spits up everywhere!! (don't love this so much;)

*Is a cuddle bug...He will snuggle right down in your neck.

* He always has his fingers in his mouth, munching away.

*He can grab his feet and roll from side to side.

*He Loves his binky!

* Recently his new favorite thing to do is stick his tongue out and blow spit all over you!

*He is a very happy baby and loves to play! We love and adore him to pieces!

Adyn was a cute monkey..He was so good all night. His little suit was really hot. Every house we went to, we would dress him up, let them take a picture and take him right out. I love that its starting to cool down. My Favorite time of year. I'm excited for all the Holidays coming up. Grandma painted baby Adyn his First pumpkin. A scarecrow..too cute :)

Adyn is now 3 months old. Time just flies! He weighs 16 pounds. My little chunker. He loves to suck on his hands..he will munch away on them. Its so funny. He has discovered his voice and the different noises he can make. They are so cute. He is ticklish everywhere. His feet, thighs, back and neck are the sweet spots. He will give the biggest belly laughs!! He is a very happy baby! Even when he is sick. He's had a cold for the past week. Not fun for a little tike. I feel so bad that he's not feeling well. He has been so congested. He clears up during the day..but nights and mornings are not fun. It scares me so bad when he starts choking and can't clear his throat or nose. Poor little guy:( Hopefully he gets better soon.

Life with baby

I think the new sleep schedule has been the hardest part about adjusting to our life with baby Adyn. But the last few weeks he has started to sleep 5-6 hours during the night..which has been heavenly. But those first 6 weeks were hard. I didn't get the sleepy baby that is only up a few hours of the day. Adyn was up all the time. He still hates his crib. He sleeps in his car seat and loves it. He can be dead asleep and the moment I lay him in that crib he is wide awake. But he sleeps away in the car seat. Whatever works to get some sleep right?! I went back to work 2 days a week when Adyn was 5 weeks old. I cried a few tears that first day leaving him...and even though i'm so tired during the day, its nice to be back in the salon doing hair. The days i'm not working, i'm home hanging out with Adyn. The days go so fast..before I know it Terrance is home off work. And i'm still not dressed or ready for the day. I'm lucky if I've got a shower in. Terrance is a huge help despite his busy schedule... after work he is to the gym then doing homework for a few hours after. But He always makes time to hang out with us and even make dinner cuz he knows I'm tuckered out by that time. My home is a clutter of baby things everywhere. ..ill put stuff away and then a few hours later everything is scattered in the living room. Some days my patients are tested...especially in the early morning when Adyn is up and wanting to play instead of sleep. I want to be grumpy so bad, but he is so smiley and giggly at those early hours. And He always cheers me up and makes it all worth it. He is getting the cutest personality.. he can entertain us for hours! He will talk and tell us big stories..his little coo's are so cute. He loves his bath and that's my favorite part of the night. After we get his jammies on He will cuddle up with me and rock in the chair. With his binky in his mouth, all relaxed, just staring away at me. Its so sweet. I hope he is always a cuddle bug! We love Adyn so much! He is a lot of work but so so worth it. He is our everything and we are loving seeing him grow and change!

Adyn had his two month check up today. He weighed 14 pounds 10 ounces. 98% tile. He was 24 1/4 inches long. 92% tile. Yes, he is a big boy!! They gave him his shots..he did not like those :( He gave the saddest cry ever. He is getting the cutest personality... So happy and smiley! He laughs and plays all the time..its so fun!

Adyn was six days old in these pictures..he does not look like a newborn to me! He is just a big boy..At his 2 week appt. He weighed 10 pounds and grew over an inch. I couldn't believe it. He will be a month old in a few days... I got on the scale with him and he is now over 11 pounds. He is a growing healthy boy :) We still can't believe he is here and ours! We love him so much!

The hospital called me Sunday night and said we could come in at midnight. They started me on pitocin around 1 and broke my water at 230. Almost immediately the contractions started up hard.. i waited an hour and got my epidural. Thank goodness for that!! I was dilated to a 10 by 9 that morning. We started to push and push and push! I pushed for 3 hours. I was so exhausted. Adyn was turned slightly wrong and I was so swollen that we couldn't get him out. The NICU and high risk doctor came in and gave us our options. They ended up using the vacuum on him. They said it could only pop off 3 times. And I really didn't want a C section after all that. They told me they only had 4 min. to get him out once his head came. If they couldn't get him out in that time, they would have to break his collar bone. By this time..i was praying like crazy to help me not break down balling and safely get my baby out. The vacuum only popped off once. But my swelling was so bad they ended up having to do an episiotomy. And then i still got a 3rd degree tear on top of it. He came out a healthy boy and that's all that matters! Baby Adyn born August 8th at 12:11 P.M. 8lbs 11oz. and 20 1/2 inches long.

I think I'm going to be pregnant forever...My baby was measuring in his last ultrasound for July 29Th. That day came and no baby. But I still had hope because my Doc had his due date as August 1st. So I still had a few days for him to come. And I just knew I wouldn't make it till then. But to our disappointment August 1st came and still no baby!! But that night we went for another long walk and when I got home I could barely stand because I was in so much pain. Finally!! I was in labor...or so I thought. Four hours of pain and then poof, I felt fine and the pain was gone. He decided he wasn't ready. So here we wait, overdue, baby less and impatient. We want to meet our son so badly..but he is taking his sweet time:)

Being 36 weeks prego in the middle of summer is kinda miserable. Might plan my next baby differently! I'm feeling pretty good, minus being SO hot and my achy swollen feet. I'm trying to enjoy my last weeks but we are so excited for him to come! Our baby already brings so much joy to our lives and he is not even here. I love when Terrance talks to my belly when were laying in bed at night. He must recognize his daddy's voice cuz he will start kicking around every time:) We love you baby Adyn!

Terrance's Birthday!!

Terrance turned 27 on the 12Th of June! His birthday fell on a Sunday this year so we celebrated on Saturday. We went to dinner at Pasta Factory then came home for cake!

Funfetti..Terrance's favorite! Sunday we spent the day at his Brother's house... relaxing and playing with the nieces and nephew! They made his birthday dinner (Thanks guys) and we ate left over cake! Birthday's are so exciting the older we get, aren't they?? ha ha I feel like he got a little jipped this year. He got all his presents earlier, so there was nothing but cards to open that day. He got a Lazy boy rocking chair. (combined present for mine and his birthday) For when the baby comes..but he says its his "man chair" ha ha and he got nice new running shoes!

I'm a few days shy of 33 weeks in this picture..and feeling very pregnant! Some days i just have to laugh at myself because everyday things can be pretty comical. Like: Getting out of bed, rolling over, laughing or sneezing and having no control over my bladder, bumping my belly as i open a door or at work when i bump a client while trying to do their hair..awkward! Haha:)

Sleep is getting harder.. I'm up every couple hours or more. I'm getting good practice for when he is here! The past few weeks my hands feel like they have arthritis. My joints Hurt so bad at night especially when i sleep. I can barely open them up in the morning. That's been the weirdest side effect of pregnancy. Baby Adyn is growing like crazy...He gets hiccups at least twice a day. I can now see his little feet or hands run across my belly. He weighs a little over 4 pounds and is about 17 inches long. We are just counting the days till he arrives and our bank account gets depleted! Haha just kidding! He is so worth it though and cant wait to hold him for the first time. :)

28 Weeks

I'm in my 3rd Trimester... Only 12 weeks to go! My belly has grown so much in the last few weeks. I'm starting to feel a little cramped for space. My baby boy is kicking and rolling around all the time. He is very active! It's so cool being able to see him move all over. My biggest complaint right now is my back..It hurts all the time. Good thing i have a wonderful husband to rub it every night!! ( thanks babe.....your the best) :) But other than that I'm feeling pretty good! We can't wait for him to come!! We have officially decided on a name.. It will be Adyn! And we have his room all set up! Ill post some pics soon:)

I'm half way!! And we're having a baby BOY! We couldn't be happier!! So far this is how my pregnancy has gone.. The first three months I felt great. Hardly no morning sickness. No aches and pains. I was able to keep up with my normal workout routine. It was going good! But not anymore... When I hit my second trimester is when the fun of pregnancy began:) I have my good and bad days. When my morning sickness comes, I get nauseous, dizzy and feel faint. And that's not fun when I'm at work trying to do hair. At the end of the day I have terrible back aches and headaches. My already tiny bladder has gotten smaller! I crave anything greasy. I can't eat eggs anymore. They are disgusting. Along with sugary sweets. I love corn dogs now, which i never ate before. And I love pickles! I can go walking but i have to be careful not to over do it or I'm sick the rest of the day. I think my zumba days are over. My wardrobe is getting limited...I had to break down and buy some maternity shirts. Needless to say I'm starting to get uncomfortable .... But it makes it all worth it when I feel my little baby move! Its so fun being able to see him roll around in my tummy and kick! I love him so much already! When I went into my Dr. appointment this week they pushed my due date a few weeks. Everything looked really good at my ultrasound but he was measuring a little small. My first date was July 16th and now its August 1st. We can't wait till he gets here...I'm so excited to have a little Terrance running around!

Christmas came too fast this year... I was kind of a Ba humbug. But my Mom helped get me in the spirit when she helped me put up our tree! Christmas Eve morning the girls got together for breakfast. It was great getting to see everyone!

We were so happy to find out I was pregnant! It was a Sunday and Terrance was on his way to Vegas taking his brother home. I couldn't wait for him to get home to find out. So I took the test...just a few second later and the results show up. Two blue lines....pregnant! I called Terrance right away. "Guess what? I'm pregnant!" He was so excited but was trying to hide his emotions with his brother in the car. So he called me as soon as he dropped him off and we celebrated together. After we took the blood test to be sure, we couldn't wait to tell our parents. I wrapped up my baby Jammie's from when i was little and had my parents open a "early" Christmas gift. We e-mailed the blood test results toTerrance's parents and told them they had a surprise in their e-mail. What a Great Start to this Christmas season! We are excited for the journey to the birth of our baby!

Thanksgiving weekend

We had Thanksgiving with Terrance's Family over the weekend.. We spent it at a cabin in Zion Ponderosa. Our favorite little getaway place! There was about 1- 1/2 feet of snow. It's so Beautiful with the white snow on the red mountians! We spent the weekend eating like kings! A big Turkey dinner Friday night and Carne asada Taco's (my new favorite) Saturday. We played in the snow and played lots of games! Just Dance II on the Wii was a favorite..and Wackee six! It was a great weekend! All the niece's and nephew's are so funny and cute...here are a few pics to capture the weekend! Thanks everyone for coming!

The Travellers and us went to the cabin for the weekend! Despite the fact that I was terribly sick and coughed my lungs out all weekend, it was so nice up there! We drove the rhino out to Observation point trail and hiked to this awesome view! Here we are playing mini golf, Team Aldridge won the game! Go team;) Brittnie and I got really good at Just dance on the wii! The weather was beautiful. We didn't want to leave!

I love girl weekends! Especially this one because it was just Lis and I....like old times sleeping over:) We spent our nights watching chick flicks and our days playing with Cohen in the dirt! Saturday we spent the day at the Salt Lake Temple. Besides St. George this is my Favorite Temple. We took a tour of the Conference Center...Ive never been inside before and it was very impressive. The best was the roof top it was beautiful and had a great view of the Temple. Thanks Lissy for a fun weekend! I'm So lucky to have a Best Friend like you!

Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort

Ponderosa Ranch is just outside of Zion National Park! Its so beautiful up there and lots to do. We spent our weekend climbing the rock wall, riding the zip line, skeet shooting, playing ping pong, pool, and hot tubing! There was so much more we wanted to do so we are planning another trip real soon ...they have jeep tours, horseback riding, ATV riding, rappelling and much more! This Halloween we went to the Palmers and played Rock band...But Trisha and I got distracted by this room full of DI clothes. As you can tell by my Rick James outfit I have on.... hahahaha. We were at my brothers house having dinner prior to arriving at the Palmers when we received a picture message from Trisha of Cole in this tight yellow jumpsuit. We had so much fun in San Fran! We took a Bay tour around the Golden Gate bridge and Alcatraz. It was freezing, as you can tell by our photos. We took the trolleys down to fisherman's wharf almost everyday. They had battle ships and submarines that you could tour along the Wharf. Of course we had to hit a baseball game up and shopping for me! The Golden Gate Park had The Conservatory of Flowers and The Botanical Gardens. We definitely got our exercise in too! Those up and down streets were killer on my legs and feet! And the food is Fabulous! Our Favorite breakfast spot was called "Brenda's French Soul Food" It was Delicious! So as you can see, we had a great Vacation!

The dentist said that Terrance's wisdom teeth was the worst case he has seen since he started practicing over 20 years ago!!! And he has the face to prove it!! After 2 1/2 hours I started to wonder what was going on back there!! So they let me come back to watch and there was Terrance sitting in the chair looking up at me while the dentist was standing up and trying to yank his last tooth out with beads of sweat rolling down his face!! They even kept Terrance's root's for show and tell!!
